I just purchased this chair and absolutely love it.It is very comfy and super easy to assemble (I am 8 months pregnant, so if I can put it together with ease, anybody can!).The company shipped it very quickly and it was packaged nicely without being too difficult to get out of the box.The chair itself is to die for!I also have a wooden glider and only lasted about 1 year in my first pregnancy before it started falling apart, and this glider is so much more comfortable.It is also big enough for my husband to sit comfortably, yet it is not too big so that I also fit in it well.I highly recommend this product and company!

Chicago Chair Company Leather Rocker Recliner, Dark Brown Review

I have never ordered furniture on line so I was unsure, but this chair arrived quickly, was extremely easy to put together - 5 minutes or less.It is a little difficult to move around because of the bars under it, but not bad.The seat is not sink in soft but not hard either. The sides of the arms on the chair are soft and comfortable.It reclines full length and quite comfortable.I got free shipping and for the price I don't think you can find anything else with this quality at this price.

Beautiful Leather Dark Oak Finish Rocker Review

After 'finally' putting this rocker together--it took way longer than it would have if it came with clear and precise instructions--the last part was ready to be completed; that being the seat cushion.Imagine my surprise, though, when discovering that the seat cushion didn't come equipped with any pre-drilled screw holes. In the words of Homer Simpson, "D'oh!"Unfortunately, if I wanted this chair to serve its actual purpose--a rocker for my soon-to-be newborn and his mother--and not merely used as a fifty lbs paperweight, I had to drill the holes myself.Fortunately, I had enough confidence in myself to do this, so it wasn't as big of a problem as it could have been.Let's face it: It could have gotten really ugly, and I'm sure a lot of people won't feel confident with having to drill them, too.Who knows, maybe I was just the lucky one who got the only cushion that had this minor oversight.All-in-all, though, it seems to be a very sturdy rocker that should get a lot of use over the next ten years, or so.

Mission Style Wood & Leather Rocking Chair Rocker Review

Although this product was relatively easy to assemble, and the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and was received in good condition and rapid fashion; there remains the invariable fact that the design of this chair is flawed beyond repair.

Within 2 days of using the the chair it developed a rather noisy squeak. It is to be expected that a wood product will give off some noise due to variances in temperature and humidity etc, however on the third day, the arms separated from the back with a loud crack.
The arms are joined to the back via two dowel rods and glue. The one point in the design where all the downward and backward stresses of the sitter/rocker are focused, is held together by wood and glue... throughout the rest of the chair a series of brass alloy screws and lock nuts are used which is fine if not overkill. The one point where screws and lock-nuts would do the most good, they are lacking.

As there are two dowel rods which support the focal point of stress on such a small supporting beam, it is impossible to replace the dowels with screws as the pre-drilled holes have already compromised the integrity of the beam.

Nice looking? yes. Quality? no. Firewood? not unless you like clouds of toxic fumes from the lacquer.
