I bought this chair for my Wife to replace her pleather low=-back chair.

I must admit that from the picture, we thought it was a "purple-ish" chair, but upon receiving (and reading the description) it's certainly a brown leather chair.

The chair was very easy to assemble and came with all parts and tools necessary to do so, as well as instructions.It took less than 20 minutes to unpack assemble and only a few more minutes to get the "settings" right and comfy.

All in all, this is a very comfortable chair.The padding is very adequate and i don't notice the adjustment screw under the seat cushion like i often do. The arms are at the perfect height and have good, comfortable support.The very high back makes this chair a real winner, too.One thing i did not expect but was pleasantly surprised was that this chair has a very generous width to accommodate even crossed-leg style sitting -- not very ergo, i know, but who's telling the ergo-police??

The chair enjoys all of the adjustments you can expect and provides nice lumbar support.The plastic base is typical of these types of chairs and doesn't exceed or fall below my expectations.It is quite stable and i didn't feel i was going to fall over in my initial tests.

Conclusion: It's not a Hermann-Miller chair, but for $800 less, you can enjoy a very comfortable chair for a very comfortable price.A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a good chair at a good price!

NuBuck Leather Care Kit Review

Bought this for around 40 bucks. It claims that it 'cleans' the leather. But honestly it does not. if you just use the ordinary brush to clean the nubuck that will be as good (or better) as using this expensive spray thing. the other bottle is supposed to be the 'conditioner'. when i used it i only noticed a minimal perceivable difference.

overall this product is poor. i came to the conclusion that nubuck leather should be handed over to the experts for cleaning. it may cost you slightly more $$ than the price of this item but your job will be done well. and best of all you would not waste 40 bucks.

We use this in our bedroom as a seat and to store sheet sets and duvets.I have around 7 sets of sheets and 4 king size duvets sets, and it houses them without issue.The leather is nice and firm, without being overly hard or stiff like cheap leather, as well as smooth.The stitching detains great workmanship.When you open the lid, you'll be impressed with the lining and the quality of the lining's workmanship.The hinge is also impressive.It never slams shut, even even holds the lid open when it's at less than 45 degrees.

It's shipped as one solid piece, so no hassle putting it together.I managed to haul it up the steps without my husband so it's not heavy.

I hesitated buying such an item online, but I'm so glad I bought this.I can't recommend it more.

Mission Style Wood & Leather Rocking Chair Rocker Review

Although this product was relatively easy to assemble, and the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and was received in good condition and rapid fashion; there remains the invariable fact that the design of this chair is flawed beyond repair.

Within 2 days of using the the chair it developed a rather noisy squeak. It is to be expected that a wood product will give off some noise due to variances in temperature and humidity etc, however on the third day, the arms separated from the back with a loud crack.
The arms are joined to the back via two dowel rods and glue. The one point in the design where all the downward and backward stresses of the sitter/rocker are focused, is held together by wood and glue... throughout the rest of the chair a series of brass alloy screws and lock nuts are used which is fine if not overkill. The one point where screws and lock-nuts would do the most good, they are lacking.

As there are two dowel rods which support the focal point of stress on such a small supporting beam, it is impossible to replace the dowels with screws as the pre-drilled holes have already compromised the integrity of the beam.

Nice looking? yes. Quality? no. Firewood? not unless you like clouds of toxic fumes from the lacquer.

Rustic River Leather Heritage Journal - Hand Made Review

This is just an overall outstanding product. I happened upon it while searching for a good journal to use, and agonized over the decision for nearly a full day. I decided on this one, in dark brown, and couldn't be more pleased.

The craftsmanship is out of this world, you can clearly tell this was a hand made item. The leather is smooth, yet rustic. The pages are bound by a wax coated twine, only adding to the strength. The paper is nice and thick, making it possible to write with any style pen you may chose, from a basic roller-ball to a high end fountain. Though, personally, I prefer my writings in pencil.

The biggest drawback for me prior to purchase was the price. I was afraid spending so much on a journal I would be tempted to leave it sit on the shelf never to be touched, but after holding it in my hand it's something I don't want to put down. This will certainly be something that I can pass down the generations of my family, having full confidence that it will survive the journey. Thanks for such a quality product!

Leather Luxe Bean Bag Review

I purchased this bean bag after my previous bean bag ripped open exposing the beans everywhere.

I have to admit to being quite disappointed with this product when it arrived. The product is described as being an adult sized bean bag. I'm a 23 year old, I'm 5ft 6" 135lbs and I barely fit in this bean bag.

This really is suitable only for kids in terms of size...also in the product description it does say that the shipping weight is 50pounds, although I have not weighed the beanbag I can confirm that this bean bag is absolutely no more than 10 pounds in weight.

For $99.90 + $30 shipping I found this product to be EXTREMELY over-priced. My last beanbag was a full size which allowed to rest my legs on it while it also supported my upper body and I bought it at target for $20 and even though 2 years later it ripped it was a far better buy than this product can ever hope to be.

Full Leather Cocktail Storage Ottoman, Dark Brown Review

Great ottoman..... but I have some issues. The first one I bought.....arrived promptly, but then broke my heart by having two broken legs, and a bad corner where the leather was messed up. I followed the protocol to return it, andAmazon. com was AMAZING getting it back to the warehouse, and sending me a new one. No hassles there. The replacement came w/ two really wobbly legs. The problem seems to be that a good product is getting beat up in the transit, and shoddy packaging offers little to no protection to the items weak point- the legs. I did not return the second one- b/c I truly love the ottoman- I had my husband drive in screws to tighten up the legs. And given that similar products on line cost double, I am not devastated. It would have been nice to receive the ottoman in perfect shape. But after having received two, in the same flimsy type box, I figured that wobbly legs were better than broken ones. Still a really nice piece, w/ seemingly endlessstorage potential-just think the whomever is prepping this thing for delivery should just slap a coupla pieces of styrofoam planking- or bubble wrap, or whatever. A Nice piece is getting beat up for no good reason, and you just hate to see that. The ottoman itself is great- wide and broad, elegant appearance, with a rich feel to the leather. Price is good too. The cheap price may be why the packaging is so stingy!

I'm in heaven. This chair gets the award for the perfect chair for a very bad back. My back is so bad that I'm disabled. Normally I can't sit for any short period of time. The LeatherPlus is very buttery soft but seems very durable. I raked it across my texured wall without a rip or scratch on it. I'm loving this chair just after using it in these last 2 days.
It arrived packed in large box intact. My husband was able to put it together in less than 6 minutes. It took him twice as long to remove the chair from it's box due to it is packed in the box tightly with a spongy pad to cushion it in shipping.
The chair is ample in size and very padded. It is like sitting on a cloud! The price was right, too. It was under $225.00 including tax with free shipping with Amazon Prime. I didn't have to pay for one of those over-priced chairs to find relief for my back. I would recommend this chair for anyone that suffers from chronic back pain or just wanting to sit on a cloud in comfort.

Handmade - Rustic Leather Money Clip Review

I decided to go with a money clip because my wallet was getting too bulky (wish it were too bulky with extra cash, but sadly, no).I just had too many membership cards I didn't use all that much, credit cards, etc.My old wallet also had an extra flap for a driver's license and more cards.It was just too much.My brother-in-law showed me his money clip, and I decided that I wanted to use one too.

I purchased the dark brown clip.The leather is thick and high quality.It has a very rustic design and finish to it.I ended up going through my old wallet and decided to take out a lot of my old cards I didn't use and only put in the essentials, so I have two cards on the outside pocket and 5 of various thicknesses in the inner pocket.

The metal clip inside works great.I can slide out bills and put them back easily.It's a lot more slim than my old wallet which was probably an average sized wallet.

I like to jot down thoughts during the day of things I need to do, and typing them in my phone in a todo list didn't last very long, but when I use a notepad, I'm more apt to use it.

I decided to try this notebook, and am impressed because of how thick the leather is and that the notebook is refillable with a standard size notebook pad.

It would be better if it came with a bookmark, but I just end up using my pen to keep my place.

The notebook is "Pocket sized" but more for bigger pockets. The leather has shown a little wear as I've tossed it about, but it still looks good.It's also handy for taking short notes if I'm listening to a presentation.

Refillable Genuine Leather Composition Notebook Review

One of the things I like best about this notebook is that it is refillable.The refills can be picked up for a few bucks so it's essentially a very classy notebook that can be used over and over again.

The leather is high quality and is pretty thick.The leather has a more rustic feel so it will show if you scratch it with your fingernail or something. I imagine that's the style, but I still try to be careful with it.

I've generally used portfolios pads in the past (the ones that open up and the pages flip vertically), but portfolios made using the backside of the pages difficult and front pages would fall out.I wanted a nice leather notebook, and because the composition notebook is refillable, I can keep using it rather than fill it up once and it's done.

The only thing I wish it had was a pen holder, but oh well. I purchased the saddle brown color, and it's been a great notebook.I love pulling it out, and people that see it go, "Ooh, I want one of those."
