Mac Motion Chairs Model 2-Piece Recliner with Matching Ottoman with Alpine Frame Review

The photo is accurate, and the chair is comfortable with good lumbar support. I would classify it a hybrid between a recliner and an office chair.I wanted a chair for my carpeted home office that swivels but did not have casters, so this fits the bill.The base came with foam pads already attached to the base with adhesive, probably so it would not slip on a hard floor. I had to scrape them off so that the chair could be easily moved across carpet.
The directions are minimal and the assembly of the one I got took a lot of strength.They provide Allen wrenches but the bolts were pre-treated with thread lock and the threads weren't very clean. It was all I could do to tighten them and I am a 200 lb guy. Plus the Allen wrenches don't fit the heads of the bolts very well.
I am not sure how well this will hold up because the seat is affixed with two 1/4 inch bolts that serve as both load bearing points as well as pivots for the sliding seat when the chair is reclined.I would have preferred bushings or even bearings.
The only adjustment is to recline the seat- activated by a large wooden knob under the chair on the right side. There is no adjustment for seat back position or chair height.
I think for the price that the quality would have been a little higher, but the chair does suit my home-office needs very well and I plan to be careful with it so it lasts.

The gloves appear on the website to be high quality leather that somehow is priced $50 below what you would expect.When I opened the package, I saw the thinest cheapest leather I had ever seen in a product.And they smelled bad. They shout out Made in China for $1. I guess there is no such thing as a free lunch, though I find bargains elsewhere on the internet. These gloves are overpriced by about 3x.I gave them to charity because it was not worth the postage to return them. Of course, I predict that many would rather freeze than wear these gloves. Based on the misrepresentation of this product, I would never trust Jilian Leathers for any purchase.I thank my lucky stars that my impulse buy was for gloves and not a leather jacket.They never did respond to my complaint, so my guess is that they are fully aware that they are selling dreck. Amazon is foolish to do business with such suppliers.It cheapens the Amazon brand name.

Leather Monte Carlo Club Chair Review

I have two of these chairs and one love seat. They are the perfect size for small living rooms. I have a dinning room/ living room combo and the regular size furniture that sells on most furniture store would not fit in my space. Basyx VL882NSP11 VL880 Series Managerial Mid-Back Leather Chair with Mahogany Trim Review

I bought the Basyx VL882 Leather Office Chair with Wood Accents for my home, because I wanted a desk chair that wouldn't clash with my furnishings. I wanted a wood chair, but solid wood was out of the question, because I need a cushioned seat. This Basyx chair seemed to fit the bill at a reasonable price. The base and arms are a wood veneer. The seat, back, and padded arm rests are a durable black leather. It's a simple and not entirely inelegant chair that is comfortable. It doesn't do anything fancy. The seat goes up and down by 2.5 inches and offers adjustable knee tilt. My chair is "mahogany". It's also available in "cherry". The mahogany stain is redder than the picture, which looks more like dark walnut. It has a definite reddish cast.

The chair's size is medium-scale, neither imposing nor inconspicuous. I am a small person and would like a small chair, but the smaller "task chairs" don't offer enough cushioning. Medium is as good as I could do. There is plenty of room in the VL882. And it is suitable for people who are on the short side, though perhaps not actually short. I am 5'4" tall and can put my feet flat on the ground while seated. In it's lowest position, the top of the seat is 19 inches off the ground. In it's highest position, the top of the seat is 21.5 inches off the ground for you taller folks. The casters and the swivel are smooth. The gas lift works fine. Adjusting the tension for the knee tilt doesn't seem to make much difference.

The chair was easy to assemble. I did it without assistance. You don't need to be big or strong. You only need the hex key (Allen wrench) that is provided. They give you extra screws. Instructions are clear. The only advise I have to offer is: Be sure you know exactly where the holes are when you try to attach the arm rests. The holes are partly obscured by the leather of the seat and back. Stick the wrench in there to make sure the hole is clear and you know where it is. It's easy to miss those holes, so the screws turn but won't go anywhere. These are measurements for the Basyx VL882. I have changed some from the manufacturer's specifications, because my chair is a little different:

Traditional Style Bycast Leather Rocking Chair Review

We bought this chair in October as a gift for our expectant daughter. It seemed very solid and sturdy at first. The baby arrived in January, and after just a few uses, the chair legs began to wobble. 6 "new" Parson Chairs Brown Leatherette With Cherry Legs Review

(The heading of 10 chairs on this review is incorrect; I ordered/got 6)The chairs were perfect, my only complaint was that they arrived past the latest promised date; it took weeks to get them. Delays from the warehouse or distributer. However, the company readily admitted the problem and were approachable and responsive. I had a few questions which they addressed quickly. Why does the description include "NEW" in quotes? Because Amazon sells both new and used items. Yes, these are indeed new. They are a deep dark chocolate brown. The quality is great, with nice detail in the stitching/roll seam on back. Aesthetically, I wouldn't say they're 100% the typical straight back Parson style, as there is a slight flare out at the top, but it's a nice line. They were packaged remarkably well, 2 to a box and seriously easy to assemble. The parts fit together like a dream. The seats are very thick and comfortable. I'd be hard pressed to differentiate between leatherette and leather in this case. You can't beat the price, either; I looked.

The chair is solid - lots of metal in used in all key structural points, and a double layer of thick plastic in the one point that isn't. Judging by the construction and design, I doubt this thing will ever break on me (unlike so many other office chairs I've seen lately).

Ideal comfort for a person like me - I like a solid chair that sits high and upright, which this chair can do. The leather seat is firm but comfortable, and the mesh back is stretched tight for good support while breathing nicely. The leather around the mesh is a nice distinction from the typical bare plastic frame on most mesh chairs, but isn't of much consequence in terms of comfort.Don't buy this if you're looking for a ERGOMG-chair with a ridiculous number of adjustable features. It must first be noted that this item costs a hefty dollar. I was searching for a wonderful journal that would last me for a while and this one immediately caught my eye, but the steep price of it nearly made me forget it. If you will not take writing in this journal seriously and you do not frequent the journal often, it must be observed that such an expenditure will no doubt be a major waste of money. Regardless, if you are dutiful in recording your day-to-day activities and reflections, this journal is something well woth the price. Producers of products such as this journal tend to embellish the descriptions of the product with fanciful adjectives, but all of the assertions made of this journal are true. The journal is shipped and arrives in a box within a box, thus greatly reducing any possibility of damage during ground delivery. It also comes with a nice cloth that you can put the journal in so as to conveniently take it places without worrying about damaging it. Lastly, the journal has a very authentic leather smell to it. The pages are thick but not too thick, and the most impressive thing of all: the spine is very conducive to wherever you might be writing in the book so you do not have to worry about awkward writing positions.

HT-140 Black Leather Massage Chair - Interactive Health Robotic Human Touch Robotic Recliner Review

I bought a Natuzzi chair five years ago with power recline and an Interactive Health "Human Touch" robotic massage unit built in. The chair was fanstastic and I used it daily. About six months ago I began shopping for a replacement. I tried an HT-135 chair and discovered the "stretching" feature. This is an incredible innovation where the chair grabs your calves (using the leg massage unit) and then reclines over the massage head while lowering your legs. If you have ever seen a drawing or horror movie where they are bending someone over a huge curved surface while streching them; i.e., "breaking on the rack", that is what it is like. I reached six feet tall when I was 15 years old and for years I joked that you could verify a pair of yardsticks with me. A few years ago during a physical I discovered that I had lost about a half inch. Well, that half inch is back and those poor compressed disks in my back are restored!

I bought the HT-140 instead of the HT-135 because it has a unique feature in that it has a small lever under the right arm restthat when activated causes the foot rest to articulate out about six inches or so. Essential for the tall person.

A friend of mine has an HT-1650 (about $4 grand) and it looks like a massage chair. The HT-140 looks more like a starship captain's chair, although with the dark leather and heavy oak accents it looks good in the living room. I paid $2K (exactly) delivered. Even though I did not get "white glove" treatment, the delivery guy helped me get it up into the house. The chair arrives folded in a huge box, but it is very easy to set up and use.

Cons: the cashew leather turned out darker than my wife thought it would be and, of course, the black leather is even darker. Would be nice to have a beige or cream option. The controller does not have a pause feature for some reason, that would have been a plus.

Set of Two 29"H Soho Bycast Leather Barstools Review

I've had these barstools for a day or two now, and after assembling them and testing them out I'm definitely glad I got them. They are really high quality, and the seats are very comfortable.

Setup was easy enough to figure out, luckily, as the instructions were poorly translated and I believe referred to an older model.

My only real complaint is that the cross members don't align perfectly, and need to be rotated a bit to get a snug fit.

I'd also recommend the use of a power drill to put the screws in, as you'll want them nice and tight. I wasn't able to get enough torque from just a simple screwdriver.

Overall though, these chairs were a great find and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a really sharp looking and comfortable barstool.

(Sidenote: the seats are real leather. Don't listen to that other review.)

Boss Classic Traditional Executive Chair Review

I have owned this chair for a grand total of 3 weeks and it is the most uncomfortable office chair I have ever encountered. There are at least 6 locations on the seat that I can feel something...springs in cushion???.. or whatever. It's like they put a half dozen golf balls directly beneath the leather.
Did I just get a defective chair, not sure.No, I'm not a big overweight guy, a mere 180 LBS. The furniture store where I purchased it is sending their service technician next week to check it out, can't wait until that person sits in it. ;-)

Aosom I3233 Leather Office/recliner Massage Chair with Ottoman-creme Review

I wanted an inexpensive and durable office chair that might help with occasional backaches and sitting too long. This product did it. The vibrating massage is super relaxing and the ottoman has a detachable wire for the massage heads at the feet -- so you can unplug it and move it out of the way or plug it in, put your feet up and massage your legs while you read mail. There are multiple massage options, heat on or off, and intensity setting. All great and comfortable. I loved the chair so much, I bought a second one for my business partner, and she loved it! Chair is not genuine leather, but a composite which may have real leather. Very difficult to tell except for the fabric backing. Didn't expect real leather for the price and so I was surprised it looked and felt so good -- very soft, attractive and comfortable. Chair assembles very easily.

Hillsdale Brookland Bed Set, Dark Brown Leather Review

I had tracked down some stats from other sites before purchasing (King Size), so here are a couple of details that were important to me.

* This bed requires a box spring, it's not a platform.
* The side panels are just under 8" tall, so thicker box springs will show.
* It's real leather, or an excellent facsimile.

It's packed in 2 boxes, 1 with cross-supports for the box springs, everything else in the other.The box with the footboard/headboard weighs about 70lbs and takes a little man-handling to unpack.The only tool not included is a phillips head screwdriver.The only trouble I had with construction is that the feet have plastic screw protectors that I had never seen before and thought they were some type of slip-on foot, so I wasted about 15 minutes trying to slip them on.I'm from Alabama, so I'm allowed little mistakes like that!Once the frame is constructed, there's a noticeable gap (2"?) between the mattress and the frame, but this looks to be factored in to allow making up the bed with thick comforters.I'm not sure how often pillows are going to migrate underneath the headboard yet.

The reason for knocking the rating down to 3 stars is due to shipping via CEVA.Amazon Prime shipping allowed for free standard shipping with 5 days to process the order.I ordered Dec 13 with an estimated delivery date of Dec 23.It shipped Dec 15 from Kentucky and arrived in Atlanta Dec 21, CEVA tracking showed a delivery date of Dec 22.By Dec 26 the tracking hadn't changed, so I called Atlanta (404-968-1200 if anybody else needs to track something) and was told it arrived on a truck that morning, it would be transferred to Birmingham the following day and then somebody would call to schedule a delivery time.3 days later (the day after somebody should have called to schedule delivery) nothing had happened, so I called again and was transferred around 3 times until somebody managed to make a delivery appointment for the next day.Although the delivery was scheduled from 12-4, it got here at 5:30.

I'm thinking the key with CEVA is to call them every hour to make sure they're coming.Honestly, I've gotten packages from Amazon that were lost faster than this one.

This chair is very comfortable and I am glad I got it.The mocha color is much darker than in the pic -- I'd call it more of a taupe/light brown.I got it to replace my office chair and it sure is an upgrade.Good lumbar support and good height for the pillow.

They said it would take 2 weeks to be delivered, but two days after I ordered it, the shipping company called to say they were delivering the next day.So three days after I ordered it online, an 18 wheeler pulled up to my house, and the shipping charges were free.

It was not hard to assemble, and all the parts are quality construction with welded steel and nice hardwood.

I was hesitant to buy such a chair online without sitting in it first, but I am very happy with it.If you don't need an office chair on wheels and you might like to recline and put your feet up while you work, go for the upgrade with this chair.

this stool is absolutely gorgeous and looks and feels very high-end.it weighs over 50 pounds, which sets it apart from many other look-alike stools out there.the problem is, the seat is very hard.the leather seat is bonded right to the seat without any padding or cushion.if you want it "for the look"this is a great stool, but, if you want to sit on it for any amount of time...ouch!after trying this one, we settled for another baxton leather stool that is a little less "sleek", but, much much more comfy.

Classic Queen Headboard & Footboard Review

Let me start off by saying that my bed arrived yesterday and its beautiful; exactly what i wanted; it looks exactly like the picture.Also, it came packaged extremely well which lends hand to how good the company i ordered it from is. if i was just rating the packaging and the product itself, i would give 5 stars; however i would like to raise three things to be aware of for anyone purchasing this bed. 1. Shipping is 100 dollars. 2. The company itself does not send out confirmations via email nor do they update you when your package is sent out (i emailed them yesterday to see if they had ever received my order and i was told that the package was already in a FedEx truck in my neighborhood). 3. Finally, this is a Head Board and Foot Board; not a Bed; therefore unless you already have a queen sized skeleton frame with a Head Board AND Foot Board Bracket (mine only had the Head Board Brackets) Then its going to cost you another $100... With all that said, in the end i highly endorse this product; it looks stunning in my bedroom and even with the extra $200 tacked on to the price (for the shipping and new frame) it is deffinately worth the price tag.
