Valencia Genuine Leather Jewelry Box - by Mele - 0014142 (Brown) (14.125"H x 8"W x 5.25"D) Review

Great leather jewelry box, the only thing I would have love to see is the interior a different color other then white.I would like a deep rich gold brown color or red would have been better.I think a little less area for rings and more divided compartments on the top layer but that's because I am not so much into rings.

The good: This is one of the most unique and beautiful photo albums I have ever come across.It's interesting texturally as well.The rough bark contrasts with the smooth slide of the leaf insert under your fingers.I know that this company makes journals as well that might make a nice gift for a blind person as the natural materials which make up the cover give a lot more to touch than most book covers do.

The bad: Unfortunately, there is no way to put photos of any other size other than 4x6's in and they got about a third of the photo slots sized just a little bit off so I had to cut a little sliver off the side of some of my photos to get them to fit.As I am not the world's best photographer my photos didn't suffer from this editing, but it was annoying (not to mention that if I ever put those photos in some other album they'll all be odd sizes).

Summary:These albums look and feel so cool that it's worth buying them despite the lack of flexibility in photo size and the occasional errors in dimensions in the photo slots.

European Leather Photo Album with Archival, Acid Free Paper Holds 200 5x7" Photos Review

I was thrilled to find a good-looking, quality photo album that actually holds 5x7 prints!They are a lot harder to find than the standard 4x6 albums.

I have several 5x7 photos that used to hang in frames on the wall.I needed an album to store all these past photos, so this is it.

You can put your pictures in either vertically or horizontally, which is helpful. Each page holds two pictures if you place them horizontally, but only one vertically.

The album has a space to write descriptions next to each picture.The memo area is very light gray and says "Memo" at the top.I wish it was plain white, no words, but at least it's very light and muted.I'm glad to have the space, so I can note who is in the picture.

The album is sturdy; the leather is beautiful, and I'm happy to have this 5x7 album!

Rustic River Leather Explorer Journal - Hand Made Review

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the journal is.It has a very rustic feel to it and the leather is soft.I purchased the buckskin version and really like it.The pages are thick and are rough around the edges.There are a lot of pages for writing, and I like the unique look.I have a couple different types of old style journals and this one is definitely unique with the wrap and the extended cover.I wish I would have had this with me when I went on a horseback riding trip in September to write down the events of the trip, but oh well, there's always next time.Overall, I really like it, now I just need to take another trip where I can use it (as opposed to using it to record my grocery list).

Rustic River Leather Discovery Notebook (Refillable) Review

I'm starting a little collection, and this journal is a great addition.It's small, so I can take it around with me easily.

My favorite part about it is that it's refillable.It comes with a notebook inside that doesn't have lined pages.I wish they were, but when I refill it, I can put in lined pages.The buckle gets in the way just a little bit sometimes when it's open, but other than that, it's great for taking quick notes (or sketches).

The leather has a weathered/rustic feel and look to it which I really like.

Cavallini Leather Journal - Moderno Style, 5x7 inch, Handbound in Italy Review

We got one of these journals, and my wife loves it.It's small so it's easy to take around and doesn't take up too much space on the shelf.My wife really likes that it had a lot of pages for such a compact journal.

We both like to write a lot in different journals and have a bunch for different purposes, trips, etc.We're always willing to try out a new journal.

The only thing about this journal is that you have to hold it open with your hand or arm while writing to keep the pages open, but for it to lay flat when open, it'd have to be huge.

Other than that, my wife really likes the color and that it's more easy to take around than other journals.

Very nice photo album.Holds a lot of pictures and looks great on the shelf.

The album is quite tall, so it doesn't fit on our shorter shelves, but looks great on the larger shelves we have.

Rustic River Leather Heritage Journal - Hand Made Review

This is just an overall outstanding product. I happened upon it while searching for a good journal to use, and agonized over the decision for nearly a full day. I decided on this one, in dark brown, and couldn't be more pleased.

The craftsmanship is out of this world, you can clearly tell this was a hand made item. The leather is smooth, yet rustic. The pages are bound by a wax coated twine, only adding to the strength. The paper is nice and thick, making it possible to write with any style pen you may chose, from a basic roller-ball to a high end fountain. Though, personally, I prefer my writings in pencil.

The biggest drawback for me prior to purchase was the price. I was afraid spending so much on a journal I would be tempted to leave it sit on the shelf never to be touched, but after holding it in my hand it's something I don't want to put down. This will certainly be something that I can pass down the generations of my family, having full confidence that it will survive the journey. Thanks for such a quality product!

Handmade - Rustic Leather Money Clip Review

I decided to go with a money clip because my wallet was getting too bulky (wish it were too bulky with extra cash, but sadly, no).I just had too many membership cards I didn't use all that much, credit cards, etc.My old wallet also had an extra flap for a driver's license and more cards.It was just too much.My brother-in-law showed me his money clip, and I decided that I wanted to use one too.

I purchased the dark brown clip.The leather is thick and high quality.It has a very rustic design and finish to it.I ended up going through my old wallet and decided to take out a lot of my old cards I didn't use and only put in the essentials, so I have two cards on the outside pocket and 5 of various thicknesses in the inner pocket.

The metal clip inside works great.I can slide out bills and put them back easily.It's a lot more slim than my old wallet which was probably an average sized wallet.

Refillable Genuine Leather Composition Pocket Notebook Review

I like to jot down thoughts during the day of things I need to do, and typing them in my phone in a todo list didn't last very long, but when I use a notepad, I'm more apt to use it.

I decided to try this notebook, and am impressed because of how thick the leather is and that the notebook is refillable with a standard size notebook pad.

It would be better if it came with a bookmark, but I just end up using my pen to keep my place.

The notebook is "Pocket sized" but more for bigger pockets. The leather has shown a little wear as I've tossed it about, but it still looks good.It's also handy for taking short notes if I'm listening to a presentation.

Refillable Genuine Leather Composition Notebook Review

One of the things I like best about this notebook is that it is refillable.The refills can be picked up for a few bucks so it's essentially a very classy notebook that can be used over and over again.

The leather is high quality and is pretty thick.The leather has a more rustic feel so it will show if you scratch it with your fingernail or something. I imagine that's the style, but I still try to be careful with it.

I've generally used portfolios pads in the past (the ones that open up and the pages flip vertically), but portfolios made using the backside of the pages difficult and front pages would fall out.I wanted a nice leather notebook, and because the composition notebook is refillable, I can keep using it rather than fill it up once and it's done.

The only thing I wish it had was a pen holder, but oh well. I purchased the saddle brown color, and it's been a great notebook.I love pulling it out, and people that see it go, "Ooh, I want one of those."
