Carlson Counter Stool Review

I gave this a 4 because it was so inexpensive and certainly worth the price. If it had been more expensive, I would have given it a three. The stools were for an out of the way area in my home and I didn't want to spend a lot on them as they would not get seen or used much. These stools look nice, work fine, and fit perfectly with my need. My complaints are: some of the legs have pretty big scratches at the bottom, but I was able to turn the stool so the scratches are not apparent. The shipping carton was VERY damaged, so perhaps some of the scratches came during shipping. I am also not sure how the seat vinyl would hold up to heavy use - but not a concern for me.

Very fast shipping - delivered a week ahead of schedule.

Good packaging - arrived via FedEx a few days after order - boxes in great shape and packaged well.

Worksmanship - seems ok - the wood is stained evenly and the craftsmanship is average or above (especially for the money)

Appearance - great - the stools look great and are really quite sturdy (the splay of the legs is adequate for stability)- and the feel of the fabric/pvc is good - it doesn't feel plastic-y or slippery to sit on, but more leather-like to the touch.There isn't a load of cushion on the seat, but it's enough for comfort.The tone of the wood is lighter than in the picture, but I have mission red oak furniture, so this worked out to my advantage as it matches quite nicely.The stools are much bigger width-wise than they appear they would be in the stock photo and are quite comfy to sit on - you don't feel like you'll fall off like you sometimes do on the backless stools.

I've seen similar stools that don't swivel selling for much more elsewhere so it seemed like a good deal.All in all - this was a very good buy and I am pleased and impressed as usual :o)

These stools are just great.Trivial to assemble, sturdy and functional.Bought two at first and went back for more. Winsome Wood Air Lift Adjustable Stools, Set of 2 Review

Sharp looking with the shiny chrome look and black seat. Looks great in a stainless steel kitchen. It does not say it but these seats have a maximum weight of 200 lbs. so my husband cannot use them. They go up and down, but it depends on your weight. I am 115lbs. and I can go down not up. My Daughter is 48lbs. and can only go up. Still a deal but keep the weight restriction in mind if you want everyone to use them.

These chairs are so not worth it. I would not recommend these chairs to anyone. Arrived damaged and had a heck of a time getting the manufacturer to do anything about it, or even to care. Still have malfuntioning chairs. As well, the base is very lightweight and tippy. Sheer aggravation and disappointment with this purchase. Major buyer's remorse.
