While this couch is currently serving it's purpose well, there was a point in time I was ready to take it out in the yard and set it on fire...First thing out of the box the plastic wrapping had been heated or pressed until it was almost melted into the faux leather.Months later there are still pieces of the wrapping so tightly adhered to the couch I am afraid to remove them without damaging the surface.As I began assembling the sofa I noticed the legs were not very secure.The bolts that attach them are thin and fragile, I'm pretty sure a good sideways push across the floor would bend or maybe snap them.I hope I haven't already bent them in the construction.The very painfully frustrating construction.Arg.Three little allen wrench bolts attach each arm to the center seat.The way they are positioned and hidden makes it supremely difficult, but when the mounting holes are *facing different directions* it becomes a nearly impossible act.I had to drill the holes out (the electric drill is not a listed tool for assembly) and try my best to bend the bolts in a way that would force the arm on.
I'm a bit of a wiz when it comes to out of the box assembly.My family tends to wait to buy furniture until they know I will be around to put it together.This was by far the most painfully aggravating process I have been though in all my experiences of out of the box assembly.Three hours to get in three bolts...
But now the couch is serving it's purpose well.
