This chair arrived on time, as advertised.The assembly was easy - my 12 year old son put the whole thing together by himself!(one of the pieces wasn't marked very well, it was a little difficult to figure out which piece it was).Once assembled, it's really quite nice!It did arrive with a few dings in the wood, can't tell if it was boxed that way, or if those are the result of shipping. They aren't bad enough for me to go through the trouble of returning it, though.
Have gotten a lot of compliments about it already.The "leather" is very dark brown, could easily be mistaken for black in the right light.
My only real complaint was the cost of shipping - there were no deals available for shipping, and the cost was hefty.
I would highly recommend ordering the ottoman with it. I did not, and wish I had.Considering ordering it later, if I can find a deal on shipping.
